Illinois Association

Welcome il hosa advisors

Advisors are the heart of every HOSA chapter. You guide, mentor, and support students as they explore careers in healthcare and grow as leaders. While HOSA is a student-led organization, every chapter needs a dedicated school-sanctioned advisor to help members succeed at the local, state, and national level.

At Illinois HOSA, we know the difference you make. You are the bridge between your students and the opportunities HOSA provides—competitions, leadership conferences, community service, and career exploration.

Thank you for investing your time, energy, and care into developing the next generation of healthcare leaders. We are here to support you with resources, training, and a community of fellow advisors across Illinois.

📘 Explore our resources below to learn more about your role and how to start or grow your HOSA chapter.

Advisor Roles & Responsibilities

Advisors provide guidance, structure, and encouragement to their students. Your role is to help members stay organized, meet deadlines, and prepare for competitions and conferences. While students take the lead, you are the mentor who ensures their success.
